China's National Day is on October 1st. It marks the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949. It's a day full of national pride. 

On this day, there are celebrations all over the country. In Tiananmen Square, a grand flag - raising ceremony takes place. The streets are filled with national flags, creating a festive mood. During the "Golden Week" holiday, people travel, visit relatives, or simply relax with their loved ones. 

The Mid - Autumn Festival is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month, often in September or October. 

The full moon on this day is a symbol of family reunion. Families come together for a big dinner. After that, they go outside to enjoy the moon while eating mooncakes. These round cakes, with different fillings like nuts or sweet bean paste, are a must - have for the festival.
